WordsFlare is a local-first set of typing tools built around a simple idea: practice should feel clear enough to return to.

Phase 1 principles

No account is required. There is no public leaderboard, multiplayer mode, advertising, third-party analytics, or remote keystroke logging. Results and preferences live in browser storage and can be exported or deleted.

Designed for a broad range of typists

WordsFlare supports beginners, students, office workers, developers, casual game players, physical keyboards, and mobile input. The interface aims for WCAG 2.2 AA-level behaviour and respects reduced motion and system color preferences.
